Real or fake?

Postby BrendanLead » Sun Feb 05, 2017 3:32 am

Hey guys I just placed on offer on this watch for $1,000 but now I am worried that it may be a fake.

Someone I know had said the following... "there's no indication of a sloppy refinish, but it doesn't make sense that the radium which was applied to the hour markers wasn't also applied to the inner hour markers. In my experience, Lecoultre has been a brand of quality and consistency. To me, that's a big red flag. "

Does that comment delegitimize this watch? Any help from a more experienced person would greatly be appreciated!!!

Heres a link to the piece

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

To repeat for the 10,000th time, VXN does not indicate a Vacheron movement.

The watch is legit otherwise and seems to be a fairly nice example of that model. I don't know what your contact is talking about. There is no radium on the hour markers.
