In order to provide a reasonable appraisal, we will need at least 3 of the following:

1) A picture of your watch. This is done using the "upload" feature.
2) Model number if known.
3) The case material, Silver, Steel or Gold, etc.
4) Case diameter & overall condition.

Due to the demands placed on my mailbox, I do not answer such inquires by direct mail. You must post your question here. Direct eMails regarding appraisals will be deleted and not answered.

Please note: Almost ALL the small ladies "cocktail" watches of brands such as Bulova, Gruen, Hamilton, etc., with gold trading at record prices are trading at or near scrap.

Memovox 815

Post by thaskeptic » Mon Mar 06, 2017 4:02 pm

Hello, and thanks in advance.

I have a steel 37mm Memovox with out the date. Leading me to believe is an 815 rather than the more common 825. Is there additional value due to the less common nature of this reference? The watch is in good condition, has both signed crowns, dauphine hands and works well, though service history is unknown.

Pictures will reflect a patina that is not quite uniform. What is the rough ballpark for a sale price for both private sale and a dealer price?

Thanks very much.

Auto Memovoxes with moderate dial issues are going for mid to hi $2000s. Prefect ones for up to $1000 more.
