LeCoultre Memovox 8 Day Folding Travel Alarm

I have recently acquired a Lecoultre 8 Day Memovox folding travel alarm clock. I do not have the instruction manual. I have set the alarm and it does ring when it strikes the hour. I have pushed the button to stop the ringing but then the alarm never rings again. IF ANYONE could explain to me how the alarm works on this clock it would be VERY MUCH APPRECIATED! Many Many thanks:)
