JL newly acquired

Postby hobowithanicewatch » Mon May 04, 2020 12:19 am

Hello, this is my first post here in this forum. Why, well because I have never had the opportunity to own one. I wanted to thank everyone in advance for the opportunity to post here, and for your comments, and recommendations. I do not work on watches, as I am not mechanical. My joy is found in looking for these and other beautiful vintage watches. The mechanical work I leave to my watchmaker. Since I bought the watch today, I just can't wait to take it in for him to give me all of the specifics of the watch. I wanted to ask you, if you would be kind enough and let me know if just by looking at the front and back, you can determine a possible creation date, color, and style? I would truly and sincerely appreciate it. Thanks again to all.

P.S. my apologies, I have more pics, but the system will not allow me to upload them. When I select a file, and click add or upload, it pretends to do it, but then it tells me, no file uploaded.

Thanks again.

It's hard to say without a movement shot, but it appears to be circa 1964 or so.
