Any info on my hollow lug LeCoultre?

Postby Alex_S » Mon Apr 01, 2019 1:21 pm

Good Afternoon,

I've had this LeCoultre for a little over a year now, and I know next to nothing about it. When I purchased it, it was on the original LeCoultre lizard strap, but the seller had no information beyond the brand.

Do any of you have any information? I'd love to know if the dial is original, what year it was from, how common the model is, etc.

I wear it as my dress watch, and would love to know more! I've uploaded more photos here - https://imgur.com/a/clxAaU5

Thanks so much!!

Caliber 480/CW, Made for the USA market, circa 1954. Dial is original, I don't know the model name. It would need to be found in an old catalog.

Thanks so much for the info! Really happy to know the dial is original. I was worried it might be too clean given the age. Great to know it’s from 1954 as well! Thanks again!!
