LECOULTRE, MEMODATE, REF. 2744-I-910/911 14k Help dating watch

Postby aaacoin.com » Thu Feb 14, 2019 12:47 pm

I was hoping I could get some help on a few questions my watch is LECOULTRE, MEMODATE, REF. 2744-I-910/911, MOVEMENT NO. 1833557, CASE NO. 5593340 14k. Exactly the same as this one.Except the water damage!!!

So first question is what year is it from? The one that Christies sold says "circa 1950" It just doesn't sound right to me.But I might be wrong.

2nd question is the lugs do not have any logo...is that correct? I think so but would like to be sure. It is a great watch.

I appreciate the help!!

It dates to 1966-67. If you mean the crowns, on this model I would expect them to be signed.

OK, it would be good if you started a new thread with pictures of your watch. The B tyically indicates that the top of the watch is not 18k gold. Usually chrome plate.
