Hello,
I am totally new to this forum and do not know a lot about watches so I hope for your help.
Have just got an Jaeger Lecoultre Memovox alarm automatic in gold and steel, movement K825 number 2020102 from my
92 year old father in law.It is just serviced here in France (I am Swedish and live in Deux-Sevres France) and in very good condition.
But I think the dial has a bit to much "patina" which some specialists seem to like but I would like a "cleaner" dial. I also want two new gold crowns
to the watch because my father in law had problems to wind the JLC crown so a Swedish watchmaker fitted two gold Longines !! crowns.
What is the original crowns for this watch? With or without the JL logo? Is it possible to date the watch from the movement number 2020102 ?
Can someone give me a clue where to find a nice ORIGINAL dial and original crowns.

Thank you in advance and kind regards
Bert

For that period, the crowns would have been JL crowns. You can occasionally find them on eBay, but let me warn you, they're likely yo be at least $75/ea.
