1940 JLC Weems 6B/159

Postby Hallibag » Tue Nov 22, 2016 11:22 am

Hi,

I have an opportunity to purchase this watch. It looks good to me, with a Cal. 450 movement in the expected serial range (118XXX) and matching midcase and caseback numbers. It has the wrong type of spring bars, but these should be easily replaced. Am I missing anything?

Is the crystal plastic or glass?

Plastic, I would say. Is this correct?
