Opinions on this one would be welcome. It is signed Swiss, though not visible in these pictures.

Tough call. Hard to say. I'd expect to the wind indicator area to be trimmed in red?

I have not found an example of this exact black dial - a wide variety of dials it seems. The white dials I've seen sometimes have red trim, could not find a black one with red trim to compare. In hand, no obvious signs it's been redialed so I am satisfied.

The hands are a bit rough, any chance of finding a better set in someone's spare parts bin? ;)

I have a black dialed Powermatic from about the same time period. The outline is gold, not red.

The logo on the first watch looks correct. The "Swiss" is correct. I can't see if the window is trimmed in gold or not.

Hope this helps,

That does help, thanks. The outline is silver, same color as the text, as is your example (gilt/gilt). For me, that fits, given the stainless steel case and dial furniture. I'm convinced it is as the factory shipped it.

Found this advertisement online today:

You have a Nautilus "I" model in steel. Next task is to find the original bracelet.
Good luck with that! :D

Excellent find, thanks much! I shall settle for leather until a correct bracelet comes along.
