LeCoultre Chronograph - Redial?

I purchased this watch a little too quickly. The seller is being very gracious and has offered to take it back.

But before I send it back, I thought I'd see if anyone here can verify if this is genuine.

Here's a photo of the front:

I don't have a photo of the movement, but I had a watchmaker open it, and it appears genuine. It's got the correct three lines of text on the bridge.

I'm not sure about the crown. It's not signed. The pushers seem okay.

I found only one other dial with the same LeCoultre name design, but it didn't have the applied logo. It's a reference 9513 Barracuda.

I haven't been able to find another LeCoultre chronograph with open sixes and nines on the sub-dials.

So... Should I hang on to this or send it back?

You're input will be greatly appreciated.

Does the case have a serial number?

I can't say that I have seen this particular model. It *could* exist, but my gut feeling is that the case, if genuine is older than the dial, movement, etc.

Need more photos for a proper assessment.

Only the caseback has a number: 282340.

I'm going to return the watch. I paid for something I didn't get.

With that said, if your curiosity is peaked, and you'd like to see more pictures, I'll be happy to post them. If not, no big deal. I'm thankful for the help you've provided already.

Again, thank you very much for your help.

Pardon my photography skills. I had to use my cheap loupe against my cell phone.

Hard to say. Inside the caseback and movement are missing but it's OK if you've sent it back.

The case and movement look genuine from the photos though the movement is missing the VXN that was present up until the 1970s. Difficult to say exactly when this was dropped. The crown to me looks a little out of place, that could be a replacement.

My guess is that this watch is actually a mid 1970s watch. To me it's likely to be real, but I have not seen that dial before. It's probably real as well, as I'd be surprised someone would go through the trouble of putting applied logos on a fake dial...

So yeah, there is a good chance the watch is OK, just a post 1970 piece, I just can't be sure as I have not seen that dial before.
