Postby octavian » Wed Mar 11, 2015 12:42 pm

Enamored with JLC since my first purchase 2 years ago. Received Zaf’s book about 3 months ago… great work! Thanks! I love looking though it.

Nonetheless, looking for more info on mother’s JLC bought in the 70’s. –
I’ll attempt to download photos. Sorry, they are only of moderate quality.

Malachite dial, 18ct. gold.

Any info such as Model, Caliber, Year, and your guess as to the value would be greatly appreciated from a new fan.

Guessing, the year is 1976-1978. Value, around that of the gold + a $100-200. I can't tell for sure what the caliber is, it should be so stamped on the movement, usually under the balance wheel. I'm guessing it's the evolution of caliber 480.
