Re: Please help identify my watch
I believe that the watch is an E165 from the mid-1950's. https://storage.googleapis.com/pubzapuscentral/watchprosite/jlc/91/raw/jlc_image.1846391.jpg I have one like it in steel. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y266/gatorcpa/Watch%20Photos/Jaeger-LeCoultre%20Steel/DSC00412.jpg Case number is 669XXX...

Re: 2 Atmos
1st one is from the early 1960's. Caliber 528-6. 2nd one is more recent. Probably 1980's or early 1990's. Cal. 540. A fairly reliable method for determining age on these Atmos clocks is to take the serial number, divide it by 20,000, then add to 1954. For example, if the serial number is 300,000, di...

Re: 1955 presentation ford motor LeCoultre alarm watch
You got a fantastic value. The watch was one of hundreds ordered by Ford Motor Co. to celebrate exceeding sales goals in 1955, as referred to in the engraving on the back. It is a Memovox manual wind alarm watch. Very collectible. More information may be found here: http://www.watchprosite.com/?page...

Re: 1968 JLC Polaris Parts Availability
You might want to try Blake at Scotch Watch. Google the name. He has a lot of parts for hard-to-find calibers.
However, if he has them it will cost you, as he is likely to be the only source.
LeCoultre parts are generally difficult to find.
Good luck,

Re: E-859 Genuine or Fake
Certainly looks the part to me. Here is a completed auction for a similar watch:

Found this advertisement online today:
You have a Nautilus "I" model in steel. Next task is to find the original bracelet.
Good luck with that!

Re: LeCoultre cal 481... Original dial?
I have a black dialed Powermatic from about the same time period. The outline is gold, not red. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y266/gatorcpa/Watch%20Photos/LeCoultre%20Powermatic/815D0A2B-8505-40DE-8BBD-F5DCA95CE48A_zpswdoj4o7r.jpg~original The logo on the first watch looks correct. The "Swiss" is...

Re: Vintage LeCoultre, authentic?
Looks like a Patton from the early 1950's. They had several different dials, but that isn't one of them. Here's one in black: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y266/gatorcpa/Watch%20Photos/LeCoultre%20Patton/5ffcbcdf.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y266/gatorcpa/Watch%20Photos/LeCoultre%20Patton...

If you have a watch from either 1970 or 1972, you are in luck!
