Hi,
Some sources say that the dial on the left size of this photo is a legitimate style seen on RAF JLC Mk.VIIA Weems watches. Zaf, I was wondering if you agree with this? Or, was this one only seen on USAAF watches?
Thanks!

Re: JLC Mk.VIIA Weems crystal
Well, at least nobody can definitively say that a flat crystal with beveled edges is wrong.

Re: JLC Mk.VIIA Weems crystal
If you believe your case has its original crystal (and, being NOS, why wouldn't it?) then I guess flat plastic with beveled edges is what I need.
Thanks for your help, Zaf!

JLC Mk.VIIA Weems crystal
Hi, I'm trying to track down a replacement crystal for a JLC Weems watch. Ideally, it would be as similar to the original as possible, but I'm not completely sure what exactly the original crystal looked like. I think the one on the watch in this photo may be correct - would you agree? http://i1131....

Re: Military JLC Weems bezels
Thanks, Ilja. So, then, no stainless steel bezels?

Military JLC Weems bezels
Hi,
I've heard it said that Royal Air Force JLC Mk.VIIA Weems watches had chrome-plated brass rotating bezels, and that the equivalent LeCoultre Weems watches in USAAF service had stainless steel rotating bezels. Just wondering, is this information correct?
Thanks!

JLC Cal. 450 manufacture date?
Hi,
I was wondering, what year would a JLC Cal.450 movement with a 115XXX serial have been produced? 1938, 1939?
Also, in what year was the Cal.450 introduced?
Thanks!
Dave
