Re: Help Identifying Vintage LeCoultre 1930 Reverso

Original crown is plain, slightly larger than what you have but it has no step. Yours has a small step. The knurls are finer, i.e. more of them that what is on it right now.

Re: Help Identifying Vintage LeCoultre 1930 Reverso

The dial is definitely repainted. I'm not sure iof that hands are original. The crown has been replaced.

The movement probably dates to 1933 at the earliest. The serial look up is +/- 2 years so it's within the margin for error.

Do you have a picture of the movement?

Re: Help identify name and year of watch

Where do you get that table? As it's pretty much the table that appeared in my book on JLC chronographs with UG movements. It looks like someone cut and paste that somewhere. I used a curve fit to generate the numbers so they're clearly coming from the book.

Re: Geomatic hands

It is possible but the 885/886 is a manual wind movement, so it isn't necessarily a fit.

Re: Help identify name and year of watch

USA market, it would be 1949-1950 best guess. Most likely with the Universal Geneve caliber 285 movement.

I don't think you'll find a model number or more information that this.

I think it is possible yes, but it is atypical.
